We'd love you to participate in the 'Tales of the Unexpected' because we believe that:

• Your story is important! This experience might help you to shape your thoughts and sharpen your understanding of where you fit in to God's story.
• God's people are often encouraged to 'retell' and celebrate the mighty acts of God in our lives.
• This is a fantastic chance to stand up and be counted — and declare that you too are a child of God.
• Others will be encouraged and some may want to find out more of this God who makes Himself available to all. A new resource has been launched to help young people share their faith story and provide an opportunity to spread some Good News across the cyber world and beyond.

THE FOCUS OF YOUR CONTRIBUTION... The 'Tale' is a chance for you to give a bit of thought to your own encounters of faith. This might revolve around the beginnings of your journey with God or might deal with some situations or issues that you have faced where you have experienced God's presence and power in a very real way. So, when you are ready to share please bear these few things in mind about how and where, etc...

VIDEO: 3-4 minutes max It could be your very own 'piece to camera' — a talking head, where you tell your story directly to your webcam, phone or latest Canon kit, or it may be your 'Nooma' style narrative with flashbacks, special effects and profound new insights into the culture and context of Bible times — but I guess we'd really just like to hear about what God is doing in your life! And remember, there's no hiding on Youtube - nor will God be ashamed to embrace YOU when the time comes!

WRITTEN STORY: 300 words (or so) Send in your story and remember to give us some basic personal details: First Name, Age (or over/ under 18 at least) and Town or County. We would advise everyone that some personal details might be best left out (or names changed) if other people are identified in the story — who may not wish to be! While 300 words is not a lot (when you get into the story) please bear in mind the relatively short attention span on the web and we'd reckon that any contributions would need to be under 400 words! SNAPSHOT: 160 characters (via SMS) Sometimes the shortest description can be the best storyteller. You can text your thoughts to us any time. Maybe you just want to declare your faith in Jesus or give thanks for something God has done in your life! Some of these will feature in our Twitter and Facebook updates. First Name and Age would also be helpful! (Text stories to 07797803716)

While the written stories and TXT contributions can remain somewhat anonymous we would want to point out that the video material is a bit more specific !!

Please be sure that you are happy with everything you say before uploading it to the web.... it can remain there for quite a while. And if you are under 18 we would advise that you at least make your parents aware of what you are doing and why.

We will not be happy to host or link to material that in anyway compromises individuals or might in any way detract from the essence and spirit of the message of the Gospel. So do bear in mind that we may not be able to post all of the contributions on to the site and where we feel the need to apply some editorial license we will advise you before doing so.
